New Year's Eve 2009 at The Crown
| The evening kicked off with resident Quizmaster Ian Morrison (and his young assistant Dolores!) inviting people to do it with him standing up - play Bingo that is!! A couple of games of cash bingo followed, with a quiz all about events of 2010 in between. And in between al that there were helpings of Play Your Cards right and a free raffle - the thong and bow tie set is on its way to St Helens as we speak!!! After the fun and games John and Linda saw in the Spanish New Year at midnight with the traditional eating of the 12 grapes and went into Karaoke until 3.00 am, with a short break for te UK New Year at 1.00 am and the traditional singing of Auld Lang Syne. Those who remember the night said it was a great night. Those who didn't remember the night said it was better than that!!! |
