The Crown has always had a reputation for being something of a sports bar, but with Mark at the helm he is expanding the number of live soccer matches shown in the bar (but don't worry girls, you'll still get your soaps!).
With his many satellite systems and wide screen and plasma screen TV's you can watch live football from any part of the bar. There is a live English Premier League game every Saturday and all live Sky games are also shown, as well as all FA Cup, League Cup and European Champions' League and UEFA Cup matches.
Being Notts County fans, Mark and Simon won't be seeing much of them on telly for a while ... mind you, they do show the odd Conference Game on SKY Sports!!!
Euro 2004 was a great atmosphere at The Crown as can be seen by the pictures on the right, and the 2006 World Cup was even better as can be seen by clicking here
But, being a sports 'nut' Mark is not restricting the viewing to Soccer - he will also show top Cricket, Rugby, Golf, Tennis etc.
